Actress Amber Tamblyn visits to the two wolf pup ambassadors at the International Wolf Center

Actress Amber Tamblyn and her father, actor Russ Tamblyn, will be visiting Minneapolis/St. Paul to meet the two new ambassador wolf pups at the International Wolf Center in Ely, MN. While the pups have been welcomed to the world, they still don't have names! The Center and KARE 11 are sponsoring an online Name the Pup contest, www.wolf.org, with Amber as an honorary judge. She has been a member of the International Wolf Center for 14 years and long time supporter of wolves and their survival.

Amber just completed shooting the noir 1950's remake of "Beyond A Reasonable Doubt", co-starring with Michael Douglas. She also appears in an amazing new documentary on poet-writer Jack Kerouac, "One Fast Move Or I'm Gone" alongside legends Lawrence Ferlinghetti and Tom Waits. You can view the trailer at http://www.kerouacfilms.com.
Amber will next be seen in Warner Bros.' "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" reprising her role as Tibby from the 2005 film "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants." The film is scheduled for release on August, 8, 2008.

Russ' career as an actor, dancer, choreographer, director and artist has spanned nearly six decades. Born into a show business family, Russ has performed in every kind of venue, from small playhouses to Madison Square Garden. His roots began in the heyday of Hollywood; he was discovered by Lloyd Bridges who gave 10 year old Russ his first part in a play, Stone Jungle. This launched Russ into an extensive career in motion pictures, television and theatre. Most notably, Russ starred in WEST SIDE STORY as 'Riff', the leader of the Jets and the classical musical SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, bringing him world-wide fame for his dancing and acting. He also starred opposite Debbie Reynolds in HIT THE DECK. His musically, championship tumbling and cat-like agility, blending with his strong dramatic skills, made Russ 'MGM's Most Popular Young Star'. Russ' career skyrocketed with an Academy Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actor in the critically acclaimed film, PEYTON'S PLACE. He also received a Golden Globe Award for 'Most Promising Newcomer'.
