Out of a squinting swollen eye,
I trace your figure
Cruel and ever present
Against the yellow bathroom door
Wearing black like you and the color were announcing an official affair.
It is hard to see through tears.
Hard to love such a filter,
Feel yourself filter through.
hard to imagine
I might taste forgiveness.
My tears have, effortlessly.
They know that which does not get watered
Does not grow.
And as a man,
You need a lot of watering.
So I shed these teachers
Hoping for change
To discipline the boy I cannot like
Until he learns to love.
Don't morph for the capsize
Harder waves have ridden you.
Hard to love such a filter, I know
But let yourself filter through.
I'll be waiting, effortlessly
